Skate All-Nighter at Somerset House

In a special event, Somerset House is keeping the gallery and ice rink open all through the night.

Across the night, a few lucky skaters will find Golden Tickets in their shoe post-skating, giving special prizes from Fortnum’s Lodge, Fortnum’s Christmas Arcade and close by venues, with the most significant awards for those who venture into the later sessions.

You can Warm-up at the rink-side Skate Lounge, home to the Baileys Treat Bar, which is also open throughout the night.

Glide on a London stunning outdoor ice rinks with Skate at Somerset House in partnership with Fortnum & Mason.

Now in its 20th year, this icy activity is set upon Somerset House’s beautiful neoclassical facade, and is open all day and well into the evening.

Enjoy a late-night ice skating session with music by top DJs at one of the Skate Lates. Learn to skate or improve your abilities with Skate School, and let little ones have a go on the ice at the Polar Bear Club.

New for winter 2019 is the Museum of Architecture’s Gingerbread City; a futuristic city made only of gingerbread.

After your session, shop for gifts and festive goodies at Fortnum’s Christmas Arcade, and warm up with some food and drinks in Fortnum’s Lodge or Skate Lounge, home to the Baileys Treat Bar offering indulgent Baileys cocktails and hot beverages.

One £8 site-wide ticket gives you a timed ice skating slot and anytime exhibition entry (usually £31 together).
