London’s hot weather to continue next week with temperatures reaching 26C

High temperatures and sunny days predicted for one more week in lockdown

Looking out the window to blue skies during lockdown was therapeutic (if sometimes a little frustrating). Nevertheless, with restrictions beginning to ease, this week Londoners have been able to enjoy the warmer weather a little more – be it a two-meter stint in the park or a slightly longer stroll than in previous weeks. And those blue skies are here to stay.

Next week, the forecast is looking just as warm in London, with temperatures touching their peak on Tuesday (May 26) – the Met Office forecasts it at 25C, while the BBC confirms the predicted 26C high. During the night temperatures will drop to 15C, according to the Beeb.

Beyond next Tuesday, the warm weather will last, although it could be a touch cloudier, and with temperatures remaining constant around the 23C mark, according to BBC Weather forecast. So maybe make Tuesday the day for a takeaway pint and take it to the park/bring it back to your garden (lucky you!).
